Tommy Bahama

Tommy Bahama’s brand is rooted in relaxed sophistication, quality craftsmanship, and a commitment to “living the island life.” The challenge for this project was to translate that ethos into an elevated hard-side luggage collection. Drawing inspiration from classic trunks and suitcases, I developed photo-realistic leather print that felt authentic and premium — not cheap or grainy compared to what was out there in the market— and paired them with fully custom hardware. The result was a collection that felt timeless and aspirational, the kind of luggage meant to be treasured, not just traveled with. It was such a market success that we moved onto creating a photo realistic mahogany wood print.
